Take Hold of Your Thoughts
Your thoughts or mind can start everything in your life or stop everything in your life. Your thought process can rob you out of every blessing that is available to you. The Bible says, For as he thinks in his heart, so is he Proverbs 23:7. That is what you are going to have—what you think in your heart, or the way you think about things.
You cannot have a good relationship with people if you are thinking the worst about them. Weather you think you can or weather you think you can’t—you’re right. You definitely will not have the desires of your heart if you don’t think that God is on your side to give you the desires of your heart.
The problem with most people is that they want to focus on the negative. The whole course of nature is set in the negative.
Everything on the secular TV is programmed to pollute and distort your mind, that’s where the thought process starts. The TV will get you to operate in fear and to question the Word of God, the truth--if you let it. By not understanding this principal it will get you to question weather your desires will ever come to pass. Satan’s realm is there to use the media to play a mental mind game with you to think that what you are watching on TV is really real. He will get you to meditate on what is going on in the world instead of meditating on the Word of God. The Bible says that you are to take your thoughts captive and it also says to take no thought saying. You see, Satan knows how powerful the anointed Word of God is. He knows because at one time he had the anointing on him. Satan had the power on him in the heavens before he got cast down. There is no redemption for Satan because he chose his path; he chose to go against God. There is redemption for us because we were born into this world of sin. Satan does not want you to have that power. Let’s look at Mark 4:13-15, And He said to them, "Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables?
14The sower sows the word. 15 And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts.
Remember that you and God are the majority. The Bible says, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." Mark 9:23 If you are a believer then it can be achieved, because all things are possible to those who believe. If you are a believer then you can receive what you believe. The Bible says, "Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. Matt 18:19
Your attitude will control your altitude--how you react. Your thought process will control your attitude. What you think about is what you will bring about. People will first meditate on a thought. Then they will begin to speak what they are thinking about, and finally they will start acting on it.
Here is how it happens. No one is around you and all of a sudden you have a thought about a person. Weather it is a brother, a sister, a co-worker, whoever, you start thinking that thought and it begins to make you angry about something they did a long time ago. You start bringing that seed into your thought process and you begin to meditate on it. Now you’re beginning to get aggravated and the next thing you know, you’ve affected the atmosphere around you. You have affected the people around you. Don’t think for one minute that the people around you don’t know you have a problem, because it is written all over you. The worse thing to do is to make an excuse for it and say that everything is just fine, everything is ok. You will never be successful at anything that you endeavor without learning how to stop Satan from fooling with your mind.
Your see your thought process can ruin your future if you let it. The Bible is saying, in Proverbs 23:7 what you think about, is what you will bring about. You cannot fight a thought with a thought. You have to fight the thought with the Word of God. Have you ever said amen to a prayer and the moment you said amen, the thought instantly hit your mind of yea, but, and what if? That is a thought of doubt, fear, and unbelief. At that time, you need to recognize how powerful the word amen is, because those thoughts come right away to get you to forget about that word amen and meditate on the yea, but, and what if’s. The next step past amen that you would have needed to take is the very step most Christians never get to, and that is resting in the Lord which literally means, you have confidence that God is going to compensate you. That is why it is so important to take those thoughts captive.
Try to remember this, Satan knows your past and he knows your present. He does not know your future unless you open your big mouth. Most of the time, he will get you to entertain the past which then becomes the present. If you do not get rid of those thoughts, it will dictate your future. Your past problems, challenges, that which you might call a failure, are only as powerful as the memory of it. If you forget about it, it has no power over you. Remember your mind is the battleground where the ammunition gets thrown into. Everyone has a lot of knowledge but, not everyone has wisdom. The Word of God says that wisdom is the principal thing. Remember Satan’s gang is not after anyone who is not speaking the Word of God because, he already has them. He doesn’t even want you; he wants the Word that is in you. See, you’re created in God’s own image, male and female. Gen 1:27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Satan realizes that he cannot get to God. You don’t go places that you don’t belong. He wants to try and get the next best thing to God—that’s God’s children. Satan does not have any power; otherwise he would wipe all of us out by now. He has got to get you to cooperate with him. The only way he can do that is to get you to react to what he says because; he is not a mind reader.

Major nugget: Be aware of the old spray paint trick. Satan will spray paint and issue that happened years ago to make you think that it is happening again in your life. He just uses a bunch of different colors to camouflage it and puts a little twist in it. Of course it is not happening in your life but, he remembers the bruise of it.
