How do you turn the Power of God up in your life?

It is absolutely amazing that God put the entire world together including the fish and the sea, and on the seventh day He rested. That is a major testimony. In six days, He created this entire universe—and you pray about something last week, two weeks ago, or even a year ago and you don’t have a testimony. You pray about something 15 years ago, and 15 years later, you don’t have a testimony. Why is that?

There are two major reasons why: 1) You are not exercising the Word of God, or 2) You are putting the Word of God inside you, but as Mark 4 says, “the sower sows the Word and immediately Satan comes to steal that Word that was sown in your heart.” Life and death are in the power of your tongue, but it’s the Word of God that produces life. You must put the Word of God in action before it moves the hands of God. God says in the book of James, “faith without corresponding action is dead.” You must put your faith to work. You cannot put faith inside you one week, and expect God to do a miracle the next day. If you are a baby Christian, absolutely, it can happen that fast. But there is a certain time in your life when you are going to have to hold yourself accountable to the Word of God, because God is going to hold you accountable to it. God is not in charge of your life; he is only in charge of the Word that is in your life. It is so easy to walk with God, have fun and have testimonies. I have testimonies, and I am no different than you. I wear jeans and a t-shirt just like you. God is no respecter of persons.

I don’t want you going to Church every week as just a gathering. I want you to gather and fellowship; and I also want you to take the powerful, uncompromised Word of God that changed my life and the lives of others out on that street, apply it and watch God work. The Word of God works all the time. The Word of God NEVER fails. God is always on your side. ALWAYS! If you are losing a battle, it is not because God is not on your side. It is because you are not tuning the power of God on. How do you turn the power of God on? By speaking His Word.
