Sammy gets numerous invitations every year to share his testimonies at churches, corporations, outreach missions, high schools, juvenile halls, prisons, and youth camps. Every Sunday morning his race car shop turns into an amazing Bible Study, where he ministers to over adults and children- some who came from up to an hour away. Sammy is currently considering several reality television shows offers about his life and testimonies. Below are the different aspects of Sammy's life.
Racecar Driver:
Sammy’s racing career began when he was about nine years old when the San Gabriel California police clocked him at over 75 miles per hour, flying down San Gabriel Boulevard in a gasoline engine powered go-cart that he built. Lieutenant Larry Johnson stated, “It wasn’t always easy to catch up with Sam; his go-cart could fit through spaces I couldn’t get my cruiser through!”
Sammy showed talent in mechanical aptitude and driving at an early age. He pulled the engine from his dad’s brand new “King-O-Lawn” lawnmower to power a mini-bike he found. He rode, and shared it with his friends all day (then he completely reassembled the lawnmower) and had it back by evening ready to cut the lawn, unbeknownst to his father.
At 14 years old Sammy completely rebuilt and installed his first small-block engine for his father’s 1963 Chevy Pickup and at 15 years old he built a1955 Chevy for The Glass Emporium in El Monte California. In high school, Sammy received a Mickey Thompson Scholarship Award in automobile repair, (which he gave away to a classmate who couldn’t afford to go to college). Sammy has also gone on to build a beautiful and thriving 10,000 square foot auto repair and racecar business, which specializes in high horsepower race engines and street rods.
Hollywood Stuntman:
Sammy has done numerous commercials, music videos, television shows and feature films such as Law Abiding Citizen, The Fast & The Furious Tokyo Drift, Dream Girls, Déjà vu, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Miami Vice, Domino, Transporter 2, Spiderman 2, Cradle To The Grave, All About the Benjamin’s, Three Kings, Wild, Wild West, Rush Hour, Enemy of The State, The Glass House, Gone in 60 Seconds, Swordfish, The Unit and Burn Notice (to name just a few). He has many powerful testimonies of what God has done while he was working on those production sets.

Engine Builder / Hot Rod Shop Owner:
There is a waiting list of customers to have Sammy build them a “Maloof Engine.” His integrity and ability to build anointed engines that have longevity and high horsepower starts first with the Word of God and prayer. God showed Sammy how to make high horsepower without sacrificing dependability. He states, “I factor in the wisdom of God to teach me what combination to run on every engine.” (2000 Christian Motorsports Magazine).
Sammy has won numerous awards for specialty and custom car building over the years. At twenty-one, he appeared on the cover of the September issue of Custom Rodder Magazine, with his high horse-powered, custom 1968 Camaro Z/28. His work has been featured in national magazines such as Christian Motorsports, Hot Boat, High-Performance Mopar & Car & Driver Magazine.
Sammy takes the Word of God at absolute face value, and 100% truth. Not only that, he puts his faith into practice with the people he blesses on a daily basis. Every day there is a steady flow of people coming by his beautiful 13,000 square foot hot rod shop, Maloof Racing Engines to pray, get disciplined and most of all to hear the uncompromised Word of God.
